At Ann Webb Skin Institute we teach you more than just how to apply eyelash extensions. We teach proper care for the eye and the sensitive tissue under the eye. Learning complete design technique is also unique to AW Skin Institute. Your lash instructors will explain how to incorporate the client's face shape, eye shape, brow shape, and desired look into one cohesive design.
Hands-on learning is essential to gaining speed and precise application. Your lash work starts with working on mannequins. Mannequins allow lots of practice and ensure technical precision before you start working on real clients. Once a student has mastered working on mannequins they can practice on fellow students, friends, and family. We have a variety of curls and lengths to practice any desired look. There is no shortage of eager model volunteers at the school. After you have mastered the application and design techniques, you have the ability to practice your skills on real clients. Once you have graduated, you can go on job interviews with complete confidence in your skills!
At AW Skin Institute we are committed to providing a quality education to all students, including those with disabilities. For more information on disability services, please contact our administrative staff at 512-614-4012.
